Welfare calls are perfect if you don't need any in home support but just need some one to call and check on you during the day. These calls could be use to check that all is ok, as a medication reminder or if you need anything. They also act as reassurance for family members and love ones.
The way welfare calls work is when you sign up to the service we will complete an assessment, this is normally done with you the client and also a family member. During this assessment the number of calls per day will be decided and if we should be asking you the client anything during these calls. The support team in the office will then set the call up on our system and call you at these time to carry out the calls.
